Goal: Support current genetic professionals from racial and ethnic minority backgrounds to continue and excel in the profession while encouraging students from racial and ethnic minority backgrounds to enter careers in medical genetics.
The WSRGN is developing an online networking site and mentor/mentee program to expand the number of medical genetic providers from racial and ethnic minority backgrounds. The program will support current providers and trainees, as well as students interested in careers in medical genetics.
